The formation of Lego User Group based in Northern Luzon started through a successful partnership between long time Lego enthusiast and Lorma Colleges’ Mindstorm Club for the 2nd La union Toy Collectors Club's convention. More than 10 people participated in the event.

Another school La union Cultural Institute was invited and did participate in the event. It was the 2nd successful initiative done by the enthusiasts through the support of La union Toy Collectors Club. The school demonstrated the functions and uses its newly procured Mindstorms EV3 sets. It was event's 2nd largest program after the Cosplay competition.
